After the cps woman left out Ciel came out of where he was hiding to where Serena was sitting down at the table. "Serena why didn't you say anything about me?"
"She doesn't need to know about you, we don't know about what type of back history you'll have when it's official that you've been detached from the world you knew." Serena stated as she got up from the chair she was sitting in.
The others came into the room and Mitchel placed a hand on the top of her head softly. "Serena was doing what is best for now. Once we know for sure what past you'll have we can gauge properly how to deal with the situation at hand."
"For now it is late-so the two of you need to get some rest for the morrow." Noah said seriously
The two children nodded their heads and they went to bed after changing into their pajamas. Serena slept closely to Ciel and held onto his hand lightly which stunned him. She gave him a small smile as she placed her hand on the side of his face. "I'm here if you ever get nightmares. We're friends aren't we?"
He nodded his head as he looked at her flustered, the two of them fell asleep sleeping closely to one another. That night Ciel relived the night that he had been branded before everything went dark.

Ciel woke up in tears only to see that he was still beside Serena and she was looking at him sadly, she wiped the tears from his face before she kissed the top of his head softly. "Eleven more to go, you got this. You are a strong male whether you see it that way or not Ciel." She spoke softly to him
"H-Had you not fallen asleep?" He asked
"No, I hadn't, I wanted to make sure you'd be okay. It seems like around three in the morning is when you usually wake up from your nightmares." She explained
He lied back down as he shut his eyes. "I apologize Serena, you shouldn't have to deal with this."
"It's okay, I'm fine with it." She said before she held his hand once more. "Rest well now, you shouldn't get two nightmares in a row."
The two of them fell asleep once more-when it came to be morning Serena was asleep beside him still, so he let her sleep as he got up. He went downstairs only to see that there were police officers in the house. He kept hidden as he heard what was going on.
"...will be going through a court system where the evidence of what had happened to her will be placed out there."
"Thank you for coming out here to tell me this. I will make sure that Serena knows when she wakes up. She's been out of it mentally since it happened."
"I can only guess what that poor girl is going through right now. Has she at least tried to go to school?"
"Yes and it made things worse for her. It seems to have made her feel even more insecure about herself."
"How so?"
Ciel came out at that time and spoke up. "Her teacher shamed her for being raped, then she was bullied by people in the school about what had happened to her. There were people who called her rude uncalled for names that had her in tears by the time she came home." Ciel stated firmly
"Ciel, you're awake. Is Serena still asleep?" Noah asked
"Yes she's asleep still. She stayed up last night until she knew whether or not I had a nightmare last night or not." Ciel stated
"Ahn, gotcha. Ciel these two are my elder brothers-Jake and Mark." Noah stated "Jake, Mark-Ciel is from a different time and no thanks to Justina he's stuck here."
"Ooohh, yikes. It's just like what Mimi did with that one motley crew group from that one show." Jake stated
"Yeah just worse-This kid is from the 1800's. He has no idea what the hell is going on around here." Noah stated with a sigh
Mark went up to Ciel and knelt down to his eye level. "I don't know who the hell you are, and honestly I don't give a damn. You even think about hurting my niece we're going to have a problem got it kid?"
Ciel nodded his head. "Got it. I don't want to hurt her though. She's the only one I see as a friend in this family. She's been very nice to me and I'm thankful for that."
Mark placed his hand on the top of Ciel's head. "Good, keep it that way."
Jake laughed a bit and smile. "Don't mind Mark, ever since Noah has adopted Serena Mark has been rather protective over her."
Mark looked at Jake. "I have my reasons."
"Yet you've never once ever spoke about what those reasons are." Jake stated with a shrug
"I don't have proof to back up those reasons yet." Mark said seriously. "Which brings me to why Jake and I are here originally. I wish to take Serena to the hospital to clear something up. I ran into my ex-wife a few years ago and she told me something that I want to see for myself."
"Which would be?" Noah asked with a raised eyebrow
"Serena is my daughter, that all of this time I've been watching my own flesh and blood being adopted into your damn family. I want to make damn sure that she didn't actually place the child she had been pregnant with in an orphanage."
"Uncle Mark....Uncle Jake! You two are here!" Serena said happily before she hugged both of them happily
Jake smiled and hugged her back as Mark smiled and hugged her as well before he placed a hand on the top of her head. "Hey kiddo. How'd you like to spend the day with me?"
Serena's brown eyes lit up as she had her hands together in front of her. "Really?!" She asked before she looked at Noah. "C-Can I father?!"
"Sure, I don't see why not. You're more than welcome to do as you please Serena. Especially since you've been through so much * as of late."
She happily hugged Noah before she went to get herself dressed. When she got back down she was more than excited to spend the day with her uncle. Ciel knew that he wouldn't always had Serena's attention-but without her around he didn't know what he was going to do so he stayed in the room and chose to read a book unsure of what to do with himself. With Serena she had been very excited to spend the day with her uncles. She always enjoyed the time she had with her uncles-especially her uncle mark who was always spoiling her and making her feel like a princess. The first thing that happened was they had gotten something for her to eat so she could take her medication. Afterwards they went to a hospital.
Serena didn't know what they were doing and didn't question them until Mark had told the doctor about his appointment that he had to do a DNA test between him and Serena. She was confused on why he'd want to do a DNA test but didn't ask anything until after the test was done for. "Hey uncle...why did we do a DNA test for?"
"I need to be honest with you Serena, I think you are my daughter. You see almost fourteen years ago I had divorced a woman that had used me for the money I had. She took me to court and placed out there that she was pregnant, but since she had been cheating on me I didn't know for sure if her child was mine or not. It wasn't until I saw her a few years ago that she had told me that the child was mine and that she didn't want the child so she placed it in the orphanage with just it's birth certificate. She didn't sign it so no one knew who the child belonged to, so I couldn't even track that when I went to the orphanage. So I'm hoping by doing this I can see whether or not you are my missing child."
Hearing what her uncle said her eyes widen in shock. "I-Is that why you treat me so differently?"
He nodded his head. "Do you hate me for doing that?"
She shook her head no quickly. "I'm okay with it. Noah doesn't treat me right even before his dead beat wife died he never treated me well."
